On June 11, 2023 Pluto began its transit back into Capricorn. While it was in Aquarius ,previously, it brought with it a paradigm shift for many. Almost as if you were in a snow globe and it was shaken up time and time again. You were confronted with your ideas, constructs and belief systems literally turned upside. This dip back into Capricorn is giving us the opportunity to revisit these places and spaces that were shaken to their very foundations so that we can plan our next steps of forward action in our lives.
Pluto rules transformation and is a symbol of rebirth. It has been referred to as "the father of the phoenix" as it rises from the ashes. Pluto has been known as the 9th planet from the Sun. The number 9 is a number of fulfillment. It represents truth and judgment, as well as wisdom and experience. It represents divine order and completeness.
As someone who looks for a deeper understanding when numbers are present in my life, after all the universe is governed by numbers, I like to break them down to their digital root. So what exactly do I mean by this? Pluto moved into Capricorn 6/11/2023 (6+1+1+2+0+2+3= 15; 1+5= 6). The number 6 is our digital root here. The number 6 is the embodiment of the heart and relates to unconditional love, empathy and the ability to support, nurture and heal. This transit is allowing us the opportunity to revisit all those places and spaces that were turned upside down during Pluto's time in Aquarius. That perceived chaos and destruction of belief systems can now be transformed into a space of understanding and unconditional love as we create new foundations in our personal lives as well as collectively.
Pluto's transit into Capricorn also occurs 7 days before the new moon on 6/18/2023. In numerology, the number 7 is ruled by the moon. It is the "seeker", the "thinker" or "the searcher of truth". It represents logic, understanding and a quest for knowledge. Now let's breakdown the date of the New Moon, 6/18/2023 (6+1+8+2+0+2+3= 22; 2+2=4 ) Here we are left with 4 as our digital root. 4 is all about patience, order, stability and responsibility. Its a masculine, deeply rooted earthy energy. We are being asked to really "anchor" in as the new moon is a time of new beginnings and with new beginnings comes a lot of "unknown". This is also a "time of pause" where we are asked to explore the unseen and we are put in greater touch with our shadow self. During this pause, is a time to integrate all parts of ourselves, our conscious and subconscious mind, as we begin planting new seeds and enter a new cycle of rebirth. Here we will transform and rebuild spaces that we have realized no longer serve us on our path of growth to our highest good.
