Our mini read for the week of 8/7 - 8/13 was thrown using a simple casino playing card deck. While it is a normal playing card deck, I have developed a 100% unique reading system that bridges in tarot, oracle, animals, Deities/Gods, and numerology in a way that pleases my team. Please note that while playing cards have been used in divination around the world in numerous cultures and even in Cartomancy, that is not how these cards will be read. Much of this read will be channeled intuitively the way my team likes it best.

Our first card out is the “3 of Spades”. This symbolizes a recent past space you have just moved out of. It deals deeply with the knowledge and ideas, since Spades work with the air element and the mind, of lessons recently learned. It speaks to a realization you have had mentally about an outside situation. This realization has launched a full-blown emotional response within your physical body.

This brings us to our “10 of Hearts”. Hearts in this deck represent our emotional body/ feelings and the element of water. The tens are all about mastery, "knowing better and doing better". The question you must ask yourself is, now that I mentally see and understand something for what it truly is, what am I going to do with it now? This card is also known as my “Healer” card. You either may be a self-described healer, or you are in the process of healing yourself after the previous epiphany. You stepped up to the plate here and chose to make a change or positive movement in your mentality towards something or someone.

Which is why we see our “5 of Spades” next. The 5’s are all about movement, justice, and conflict. In this deck it also represents the “Devil” card. You, having mastered your emotions regarding this new perspective on things, have chosen to set yourself free mentally from the prison you have kept yourself bound within. This has triggered a “bridge” for growth!

Your bridge comes out as the “Jack of Spades”. This is where you are sitting now! This card represents the “Death” card, as well as, the throat chakra. Since you started off heavy in your head space and your upper dantian, you are bridging backwards. You are someone who functions regularly with a lot of inner conversations and mental cloudiness. You may notice this physically as headaches, pressure, or confusion. You are being encouraged to open up your throat chakra and speak your truth on the matter that has been weighing heavy on your mind. By speaking your truth, you will be in turn choosing yourself. With the death of a space, also begins the birth of another. By walking your bridge, you are being given the opportunity to activate your heart space.

This is confirmed by the “6 of Clubs”. In this deck it represents the cardinal direction “South” and “Authenticity”. The suit of clubs correlates to pentacles in tarot and the Earth element. South is being used as another form of confirmation that you are bridging your chakras in reverse order. You are grounding your mind through the throat chakra into your heart space. In your heart is where your authentic self-lives. My team calls your heart space “The Center of the Universe”. It is at the center where we find our inner flame and our inner spark.

They have you embodying the “King of Diamonds” once you complete this grounding bridging. This card represents the divine masculine, “The Sun” card, and the idea of being the “Warrior in the Garden”, among other things. The suit diamonds are all about your spirit or life force energy, the fire element, and the wands in tarot. It is through this knowing and embodiment of courage and confidence, that you begin to step into who you are really meant to be. Your true, bold, authentic self, fully equip, and armed at the ready with fiery passionate energy. Your newfound drive will propel you towards further movement.

We have out yet another bridge card! Your journey has just begun! The “Jack of Hearts” is out in full force. This card represents the Egyptian Scales, where we weigh our own hearts against the sacred feather of truth. You are gathering up your inner strength to fill up your own emotional cups. You now know you don’t need to wait for someone else to do it for you. But that you have the strength and fortitude to fill your own emotional cups. You have judged yourself worthy and are moving in a positive direction with confidence. What we always say and teach is fix the mind, bridge the heart, and the vessel will follow. We know this because as within so without. Confirmations of you having reached this step is seeing representations of the God Hercules, or a lion. This card does embody the Scorpio energy, so keep that in mind as you proceed.

The “5 of Clubs” is out showing your physical movement and freedom from your inner struggles and battles of the past. The fox comes out on this card as well, so the use of your cunning when handling those around you during this change in guard is needed at this time. Now would be a good time to look into some animal medicine surrounding the Fox. You are a master of your head space, so use your wits wisely! You have brought “Justice” to a past space! This has you finishing out as the “Emperor”.

This is seen by the “King of Clubs”. This card also represents the hawk, the God Horus, and embodies the Taurus energy. You are encouraged to stand strong and tall in your new grounded perspective. However, when you feel so called to do so, fly high like the hawk, and take an aerial view of the situation and your surroundings. Even though this is an Earth card, being a hawk, you have the ability to play in the element of air when the time calls you to. While you are planted now in the ground, don’t forget about your mental mastery. Use all your tools as you embody the Emperor moving forward.

A new perspective you have gained. Now practice patience and see where that newfound confidence leads you. A word of caution! Taurus energy may be surrounding you or you may be a Taurus yourself, look out for that struggle. Whether it be within yourself or outside of yourself, as it may be a soon to come or present obstacle for you.
