I threw this weeks read with one of my favorite decks, the Dreams of Gaia Tarot Deck. The first card out is, "Integrity". Here we see a lady laid out naked, this shows her physically barring all for the world to see. This can be further represented as her embracing her truest and most vulnerable form. She's looking straight ahead with confidence and strength. This to me feels as though there needs to be complete "baring" (truth or emotional vulnerability) and honesty in your current life situations. But this card is also reminding you, though this may be hard, you are protected physically, psychologically, and spiritually. Psychological protection can be seen with the peacock feathers adorning her crown, while the bold jaguar in the background protects her physically, accompanied by the owl, a bird, which is often seen as being closest messengers of the higher realms, this protect her spiritually. I am being told to take the Jaguar as also representing that's it's time to claim the fruits of your labor, for all the hard work that you have put into being able to bear your soul to the world.
Next we have out "The Scribe". To me this is saying to be aware of how you speak. Not only about others, but truly and most importantly about yourself. This card depicts scrolls coming out of his mouth and hanging on his head. This reminds us what we speak really does become reality, so being mindful of negative and hateful speech is a must, as it really can manifest itself in your life. We see he has a beetle on his head, which to me is a sign that change is necessary. This pulls me back to what you speak can become what you believe, thus forming new perspectives and constructs. So remember, don't be afraid to leave the past behind and seek out new knowledge in the now moment. Which takes me to the bee sitting at the bottom of the card. This also brings about a time also for creativity. To Beeeeee YOURSELF! Authentically and unapologetically.
This leads us in the "Six of water" card. This card calls for you all to show love and compassion. This can be outside of yourself such as, for humanity in all, but to me this calls more to as you needing compassion, love, and acceptance of yourself. The more you learn to show yourself the softness you need and the unconditional love only you can give yourself, the more you will open your heart space (chakra). As you see, her heart space is glowing, she is soft and calm reaching out her hand for you to join her with an open heart. Will you grab her hand?
That directly leads to my next card, "the eight of fire". She has embodied the transition into the phoenix. This is a call to action for you to transform! Start to put all you have learned into action and movement within your life. You are as strong and beautiful as the grand majestic Phoenix. Notice, her third eye is opened and she is abundantly shining all around! There is no time for procrastination now, she has journeyed from the ash's, and is truly ready to use all of her power.
With all of these four cards together, they paint a full story line for us to follow this week. First we must bare ourselves to be honest and pure knowing full well we are protected mind, body, and spirit. Then into the learning that words are spells, so we must "beeee" careful what we speak and how we speak to ourselves and about others. Then once, we start to utilize these practices, we allow ourselves access to new knowledge and perspectives we were once closed off to. Then, we rocked forward into our transformation phase, our arise from the ashes, as the powerful Phoenix we were always meant to be. Only than can we transmute energy and transform into our highest-self for our greatest good. Take hold of all you are and become the Phoenix you were meant to embody!
