This week's tarot reading was tossed using The Elemental Wisdom Tarot deck. The first message that was said by my team was, "the redirection was a blessing". While it may be hard, and that is completely understandable, it is coming and it's A COMPLETE BLESSING! They are just saying that you will be having to start entirely new. This could have stemmed from a deep loss, a personal tower moment, or this could have just been an inner realization that things needed to change. They cannot stress enough this is a blessing! As we look at our first card the "10 of coins" in reverse, I am not being pulled to its normal interpretation, but more how it's being dangled right in front of you, from the Heavens. If you look at the photo you see the golden stem, which would typically be planted in the ground, should the card be upright, but now it's almost as if they are planting this here for you from above. It is in direct connect to the Divine. Direct connection to Source/ Universe/ God/ Creator/ Great Spirit! They go on to talk about how this is a "necessary evil" on your pathway. Your loss, your frustration, your restart, your redo, your entirely new physical beginning is needed, necessary, and all part of "the divine plan".
As we look toward the second card, the "9 of coins", we realize that we start to count down from 10 to 9. Usually that is a symbol of regression, however, they are telling me to take it as taking one step back to take three steps forward. The reason that they are doing this is because when you take this step backwards, it's not negative, but rather that you are redefining everything that you are. You are having to come out even stronger than before. 9 is all about your completion success, your "know better", it is fulfillment. Then you see, you displayed out on the card, how your boots are firmly planted on the ground, you are strong, you are confident, you are independent, and completely "self-reliant". You are stable and you are sturdy! They are pointing me towards two things on this card, but they both are talking about how you are connected. You see how the vines on this card, are almost grasping at your dress, you are very connected. The fact that this is seen previously, not only as direct connection with source with the stem on the 10 of coins from earlier, but the fact that this was dangled in your face in the shape of a sacred tree of life. This is further confirmation you are on the "proper road" is what they are calling it, and you are being led by your team, however, you are doing so without losing your stability this time.
In the 9 of coins, you are balanced. You are taking a step back to move forward. They are pointing me to the falcon in your hand. When we look at the falcon as a power animal or a sacred animal symbol, this is someone who had to fight against their fears to overcome and "rise up" from past situations. You had to show yourself strength and grace. You have hunted through yourself for the answers. This is a powerful symbol of a higher-self connection. Your connection to the Spirit World / Source/ God. This is you fighting for your ambition and your potential to "fly high". But you see how you aren't in flight yet; you're seated firmly in the hand. They are saying now is not quiet the time for you to be "in flight". This is that pause that happens before the take-off. They are saying you are at the ready, should you need to be released, and this what they are talking about. You are unmasked. You see how your bird wears no hood, he is not covered or shrouded in darkness, you are fully trusted to sit and wait for the signal for when it's time. See how she isn't worried about you or the possibility that you will "leave at any time". This is a testament to your growth. You know your falcon can be released at any moment; this is the confidence that you now hold within yourself. They are saying this is part of your "Royalty", that we often find in tarot court cards. This is part of your prestige and the victory that you hold. This is your clear vision.
My team is being very particular in the last 2 cards, "the Page of Swords" in reverse and the "Queen of Swords". They are alluding to the battle that has come up between these two cards and the stark difference in what you've overcome. They are calling for you to keep balance, but they are acknowledging with grace and attention what you have already balanced so far. The page of swords in reverse is about your inner battle to make sure your words and your actions coincide for yourself, but also holding others to that expectation as well. You have broken free from the need to be defensive, powering through mental blocks, and battling your past lack of follow through. You are putting to bed this younger mindset and mentality. Through this step back, you have truly embraced your Royalty, this Queen of Swords energy. You have gained your strength and your wisdom through the suffering, through the loss, through the grief, and the pain. You have begun to fully embrace who you are now.
They are pulling me toward the difference in sword placement in these last 2 cards. See how the page has his sword diagonal across his chest in almost a defensive and quick to strike way, should he need to use his violence. It's a younger battle hungry and less experienced display of energy and personal power. Whereas, the Queen has her sword out straight up, she is in full realization that it is a tool that she is ready to use if she should need to, but she now knows the full weight and power of her sword. She stands in confidence. The sword pointing straight North is another nod at your direct connecting to the stars, to the divine. They are bringing me a parallel to a well-loved TV Series, Game of Thrones, where Daenerys Targaryen, "Khaleesi" in one episode made the statement that, "you do not deserve braids, for you have won no victories! You have fought and won nothing". In this card notice how here hair is fully braided, not one piece of hair is not adorned in a braid. This further shows all that she has overcome and the "royalty" of her nature. All of her red linen behind her is not only the color representing War, but also the color of foundation, it is the root chakra, it is the color of compassion, and it is the color of love. It is also a symbol of her unbinding yourself and freeing herself from being self-bound, like we typically witness in the 8 of swords card. These are once again a testament to the obstacles you have overcome and continue to overcome.
I was told to take a further step back as we look at the whole toss as one. During this week ahead you may find yourself challenged with the need to uphold the balance and position that you have already cultivated between two elements so far, earth (coins = grounded foundations) and air (swords = mental foundations). One is North (air), and one is South (Earth), they are divine opposites when you place them on the compass. This week you will need to be extra mindful of the balance between these two elements within yourself. Your mind will be tested, you'll need to pull yourself outta old loops and old patterns of thinking or communication. Reminder, when you are head heavy and your mind is swirling that is too much air element tipping the scales. It's time to go ground and bring in more earth. The same can be said if you find yourself feeling lazy, stagnant, or uninspired, this is the time to flex that air element. Start getting moving, be creative, communicate with others, flex brain capability, and it is a time when your new ideas need to be sparking inspiration. They cannot stress that this redirection is purposeful and truly a blessing, your only mission this week is to maintain balance between your air and your earth elements.
