This smudge bowl is sculpted from soapstone which is extracted from the ground. This stone bowl is very unique and earthy.
Wonderful as a bowl to drain or to snuggle up to and rest your smudge sticks.

The flower carving work is done by craftsmen with their skilled hands on the smudge pot.
Each smudge bowl may vary in colour and shades and will differ from the one shown above. The colour of the stone is natural and it is not painted or polished. Each stone has its own unique light and dark shades which are natural.
 
I have a very similar smudge bowl that I will use sometimes to cleanse my space and various items. I have also used it to burn loose offerings as well. I do love bowls like this! The only down side is even with salt on the bottom of the bowl it still does get hot, so handle with caution.
